hoedown

Jesse and I went downtown to the Hoedown last weekend. We didn't stay long because I wasn't feeling very well but I took a few photos.

These were for sale but I was able to control myself and just took a photo.


This is the fountain on the Riverfront down by the Ren Cen.


We ended up parking in the scariest parking ramp ever. See the van in this photo? When we drove by it, we noticed the side door was wide open. Since it was the only other car, we didn't stop to see if everything was okay. I was afraid we'd find a dead body.

birth day.

Today is my birthday!

And today is Bea Arthur's birthday!!

Every year I forget that I share a birthday with Bea which is okay because every year I get excited when I read it on the internet. So thank you, internet, for my yearly birthday gift.

There will be no celebrating today because I am sick. Yuck. But on Friday night we'll be hitting the Motor City Casino buffet and then the Comet Bar for some karaoke. No, I don't sing. But I watch and drink and take fun photos.
